Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of TinyBridge Choice Boards (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Intended Use

TinyBridge Choice Boards is designed to be used as a communication aid for non-verbal individuals. The intended uses include:

• Creating visual choice boards from photos for communication purposes
• Facilitating non-verbal communication in daily activities (meals, shopping, activities)
• Supporting AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) therapy
• Assisting caregivers, educators, and therapists in providing communication tools

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Service to:

2.1 Harmful or Illegal Content

• Upload, create, or distribute content that is illegal under applicable law
• Create boards containing explicit, violent, or sexually inappropriate content
• Upload photos depicting abuse, exploitation, or harm to any person
• Create content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups

2.2 Privacy Violations

• Upload photos of individuals without their consent (or consent of their guardian)
• Collect, store, or share personal information of others through the Service
• Use the Service to stalk, harass, or monitor individuals without authorization
• Upload photos containing sensitive documents (medical records, financial records, identification documents)

2.3 Security and Integrity

• Attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or boards
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
• Upload files containing viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data from the Service
• Circumvent authentication, access controls, or rate limits

2.4 Misuse of AI Features

• Deliberately submit misleading photos to generate inappropriate AI outputs
• Attempt to use the photo analysis or image generation features for purposes unrelated to creating communication boards
• Generate images intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead others
• Systematically abuse AI features to exhaust service resources

2.5 Intellectual Property

• Upload copyrighted photos or images without proper authorization
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Service or its components
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks

2.6 Commercial Misuse

• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use the Service to create competing products or services
• Use the AI-generated images for commercial purposes outside the Service

3. Content Standards

All content you create or upload through the Service should:

• Be appropriate for all audiences, including children and vulnerable individuals
• Be accurate and not intentionally misleading
• Respect the privacy and dignity of all individuals
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations

4. Safeguarding Vulnerable Users

Given that our Service is used by and for vulnerable individuals, including children and people with disabilities, we have heightened expectations:

• Always act in the best interest of the non-verbal individual when creating and presenting boards
• Do not use the Service in ways that could cause distress, confusion, or harm to vulnerable users
• Ensure boards contain age-appropriate and contextually appropriate content
• Use the Service to empower communication, not to restrict, control, or manipulate

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:

Please include as much detail as possible about the violation. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Enforcement

We may take the following actions in response to AUP violations:

• Warning: For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning
• Content removal: We may remove content that violates this AUP
• Account suspension: We may temporarily suspend access to the Service
• Account termination: For serious or repeated violations, we may permanently terminate your account
• Legal action: We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for violations that cause harm

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect users or the Service.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
