What is TinyBridge Choice Boards?

TinyBridge Choice Boards is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app for non-verbal and minimally-verbal children. It turns a photo of any real-world scene — a menu, a snack shelf, a play setup — into a choice board with AI-generated symbol tiles the child can tap to communicate.

How do I sign in?

The app uses Sign in with Google. Tap "Sign in with Google" on the welcome screen, choose your Google account, and you'll be returned to the app with your boards loaded. If you have trouble signing in, please email support@tinybridge.ai with a description of what you're seeing.

How do I create a choice board from a photo?

Tap the camera button, take a clear, well-lit photo of the items you want on the board (a menu, a shelf, a tray of choices), and TinyBridge will extract the items and generate a symbol tile for each. You can review, edit, add, or remove labels before saving the board.

Why are my new tiles missing images?

Image generation runs in the background after you save a board. New tiles will show a placeholder briefly while their image is being created. If a tile stays without an image for more than a minute, please pull to refresh, or close and reopen the board. If the problem persists, email support@tinybridge.ai with the board name and the label that didn't generate.

Where are my boards stored? Can I use them on another device?

Your boards are saved to your TinyBridge account, which is keyed to your Google sign-in. Sign in with the same Google account on a different iPhone or iPad and your boards will be there. The default starter boards (Snack Time, Getting Dressed, At The Park, etc.) appear automatically the first time you sign in.

What about photo recognition that fails or returns wrong items?

Photo recognition is AI-driven and isn't perfect. The best results come from well-lit, in-focus photos where each item is clearly visible. You can always edit or delete the auto-generated labels and add your own. If you keep getting poor results from a particular kind of scene, send us the photo (or a similar one) at support@tinybridge.ai — it helps us improve the model.

How is my child's data handled?

TinyBridge is built for vulnerable users from day one. Photos are processed for symbol generation and never used for advertising. We do not sell data. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy, our GDPR notice, and our HIPAA alignment.

How do I delete my account or export my data?

Email privacy@tinybridge.ai from the email address associated with your Google sign-in. We will confirm your identity, then export your data (boards, tiles, account info) and/or delete your account within the timeframes required by GDPR and other applicable law.

Is there a cost to use the app?

The TinyBridge Choice Boards iPhone app is free to download and use during early access. Future paid plans (for schools, clinics, and advanced features) will be announced clearly inside the app — there are no surprise charges.

The app crashed / a feature isn't working

Please email support@tinybridge.ai with: (1) what you were trying to do, (2) what happened, (3) your iPhone model and iOS version, and (4) the version of TinyBridge from the App Store listing. Screenshots help a lot. We'll get back to you within one business day.
